REBECCA

SOELBERG

Singer • Actor • Arts Advocate

NYC Based Artist

I grew up with a Grandfather who took 3rd-grade-me to our local Philharmonic Saturday morning rehearsals.

That love of classical music carried me to a degree in Vocal Performance and a Spotify account filled with my favorite Mozart aria albums and Sondheim (alongside some Mumford and Sons).

I have always been one to deep dive into art that speaks to me (illustrated in me learning to full length Mabel cadenza in my debut performing role at age 11 in our production of Pirates of Penzance Jr.)

I love how art teaches us to sit in the ambiguity of life and strive to create art that helps us both think & feel. I believe that connecting with our voice cultivates a connection with mind, body and community. I strive to build a world where we all have the space to use our voices to advocate, play & dream.

I am a singer. Musical theatre, opera, choral works.

I am an actor. Plays, film, musicals.

I am an educator. Voice, acting, mental health advocate.

Humanity and compassion is at the center of everything I do.

At a glance

Rebecca is the calming and supportive presence you need on your singing journey! She has a gift for determining what each individual needs to grow in their confidence and technique. I've worked with Rebecca for years to develop my voice for use in acting in both voiceover and on-camera. Our time together has given me valuable insight into how to use my voice in a healthy and sustainable way

I love the feeling of being both totally alone and seen simultaneously.

New York City and the stage are where I feel the most at home.
